HMM...

Not what I was hoping for, but check out the time on that email! Just a little wink from God. Thanks!

(Sorry, I should have explained better. I just got so excited. Blogger shows that I posted the 62 hour post at 8:21 PM on Monday. I got this email from our consultant exactly 62 hours later... down to the minute! ha! I just feel like it's God saying "I haven't forgotten you" So encouraged today.)

  5. That is wild. I can't help but think again about Israel's Wilderness Detour. Exodus 13:21-22 says "The Lord went ahead of them. He guided them during the day with a pillar of cloud, and he provided light at night with a pillar of fire. This allowed them to travel by day or by night. And the Lord did not remove the pillar of cloud or pillar of fire from its place in front of the people." I feel like God graciously is giving you guys your very own pillar of cloud/fire. It's like he's saying, "I am ahead of you. I am guiding you." Don't forget the next part of the story. Very soon, God will be giving you instructions for crossing the sea!

  8. Good grief God is faithful. Your story is so chalk full of hope and is so obviously planned by the One who sees us.

And now I'm praying that Ashley calls tomorrow with fantastic news.

  11. That is so cool. You hoped expecting for God to do something. And God did. Showed you He is present and totally aware of your beating hearts for your son.

    Love you guys.
