THANK YOU!! AND A GIVEAWAY

We are nearing the end of this process and about to begin a new chapter with our boy forever in our arms. I've spent a lot of time the past few weeks thinking about all the people who have reached out to us... with prayers, encouragement, gifts, time. The list goes on. I want you all to know how much we needed all of that and how much we appreciate you! It's been a long road. Beautiful and also very tough at times and I'm so thankful we didn't have to walk it alone.

Now for the giveaway...

If you are in the process of adopting from Ethiopia and you think this 8x10 signed screen print is awesome (and you don't already have it) you should enter to win! Here's how... It's really simple.

Email me at mrs.heatherhale@gmail.com and tell me:

- who you are
- where you are from
- what led you to adoption
- where you are in the process
- how I can pray for you

First 5 people to email me answering all 5 questions will win! My little way of saying thank you!

  1. Hi Heather, I happened to look at my reader right as this posted so don't think I'm a creaper. However...I'm happy to answer.

    --I'm Jess Soete
    --from Columbia, MO
--I've always felt called to adoption(earliest I can remember, I was 12) but the hubs and I came to it about a year and a half ago, both feeling like God led us that direction.
--We have our second home study visit Saturday and are doing paperwork like crazy!
--Please pray for our home study to go well, for our paperwork to be smooth, for finances, and most of all, for the new MOWCYA slow-down.

I pray for you guys often and just said a prayer for you this morning. So glad we've "met" through this process! I'll continue my prayers for Arthur and hope someday our little ones can meet! Jess

  3. Heather--for the few minutes we got to share in the van ride from the House of Hope to the Guest House (and my teary mess! sorry I didn't engage in conversation more!)--just wanted you & Aaron to know that God put you on my heart and I'm praying you guys through this wait to hear back from MOWA. There were some wonderful families there that week and we're blessed by the fact that God put us all together in this wonderful season of life. God bless and maybe we'll get to travel back to ET together and enjoy a meal together at the EGH. :)

P.S. I'm guessing this picture came from Addis...it's adorable! If you remember where you got it, let me know?
